Hi everyone,

TZ Portfolio team are so happy to announce that we have already released a brand new add-on called Password. This add-on is developed with privacy in mind to help secure the article's content and other information with a password, or just display the content to groups of approved users. When the article is password protected, people visiting your site will see an alert message and need to provide an appropriate password to read the whole content.

Technical Requirements

With this addon, you can easily to hide different elements of your article such as Fulltext, Introtext, Created Date, Published Date, Modified Date, Hits, Tags, Votes ... in both listing and detail article views just right off the add-on manager.

2. Protect the article with a password

After installing the add-on, go to TZ Portfolio+ articles in administrator, you'll see a Password Options on the right sidebar which offers you a protection password and message.
  • Protection password allows you to provide the article a password including letters, digits, or other symbols
    Ex: @nopassword00**
  • Protection message is the plain text warning viewers about private content
    Ex: This content is password protected. To view it, please enter your password below

3. Control user access level

When editing each article and category, you're able to manage reading access of users groups to article's content without requiring a password by setting "Read without Password" in "Permission" tab.
