Override an add-on in module

override_module_addon
Here below is an example of how to override add-on in module TZ Portfolio Plus articles:

  • ​Login to your site's files and follow this folder path: components\com_tz_portfolio_plus\addons\[addon_group]\[addon_name]\modules\[module_name]. In this case, it's components\com_tz_portfolio_plus\addons\mediatype\image\modules\mod_tz_portfolio_plus_articles
  • Copy file default.php
  • Browse to your /templates/ folder.
  • Open the folder for your current template. In this example, our template is /tz_nish_ii​/ 
  • Open this folder (templates\tz_nish_ii\html\mod_tz_portfolio_plus_articles\plg_mediatype_image​) and paste file default.php​ here
  • Get started to modify your file
