Since TZ Portfolio+ version 2.0.8, some important improvements have been made to bring stunning features, which is to help users get better experience. Let's take a look at new things mentioned:
Go to Admin > System > Global Configuration > TZ Portfolio Plus > Permission. You'll be able to configure permission on the action "Approve article", applied to different levels of users.
Select "Allowed" if you want to allow that user to directly approve pending articles.
In case users are not allowed to approve pending articles, after having done creating a new article, users are supposed to submit it for approval or save as draft.
When article is submitted to pending list, super user will open it under review mode and Approve or Reject after that. Reject action will come with a message box in order to list out reasons why article is rejected
There are 3 new status available: Draft, Pending, Under Review. Please use "Search Tools" to filter your articles. Users (Except for Super admin and allowed users) are incapable of edit their articles when they are in Under Review list.
TZ Portfolio Plus version 1.2.1 has marked an important improvement of developing Access Control Level (ACL) to Portfolio in back-end.
The Portfolio ACL system is inherited from Joomla's, which can be thought of as being divided into two completely separate systems. One system controls what things on the site users can view. The other controls what things users can do (what actions a user can take). The ACL for each is set up differently.
Component > TZ Portfolio Plus > Articles
, then click on an article, navigate option "Access", which is used to control viewing Portfolio articles in front-end
The other side of ACL is granting permissions to users to take actions on objects. Access to Options is only available to members of groups who have permission for the Configure action. In the example below, the Public group is allowed permission for the Create option, so members of this group can only create Categories without the access to other functions.
