Step 1: Create a category, its subcategory and articles

  • Go to Components > TZ Portfolio Plus > Categories to create new category and its subcategories.
  • See more details about how to create a category HERE.
  • For each subcategory, please select an image in option “Image”.

  • Go to Components > TZ Portfolio Plus > Articles to crate the article for the subcategories
  • See more details about how to create an article HERE.

Step 2: Create a menu item with type TZ Portfolio Plus > List All Categories

Step 3: Configure in Global Configuration

Go to System > Global Configuration > TZ Portfolio Plus > Categories. Please pay attention to the following options:

  • Category Image: Show
  • Subcategory Levels: All
  • # Articles in Category: Show

Finally, you can see the your category listing page displaying like this in front-end:

Lightbox can be used when you are using the articles with Image Type in category layouts.

To configure the lightbox of article in TZ Porfolio Plus, you need to check through 2 levels. This feature is applied for the layout Portfolio, Date Articles, Tag Articles and User Articles. They are:

 

    1. Global level
    2. Menu Item level

The priority of the setting will be applied from 2 to 1. It means that the setting in Global level will be applied for article layouts unless they are changed for a specific menu item.

I. Global level

  • To configure in this level, please go to Components > TZ Portfolio Plus > Options and configure in tab General.

II. Menu Item level

  • To configure in this level, please go to Menus > Main Menu > Menu then configure in tab Basic Options.

To configure the permission of article, menu item, category in TZ Porfolio Plus, you need to check through 3 levels. They are:

 

    1. Global level
    2. Category level
    3. Article level

The priority of the setting will be applied from 3 to 2, 1. It means that the setting in Global level will be applied for article layouts unless they are changed for a specific category. The setting in Category level will be applied unless they are changed for specific article.

I. Global level

  • To configure in this level, please go to Components > TZ Portfolio Plus > Options and configure in tab Permission.

II. Category level

  • To configure in this level, please go to Components > TZ Portfolio Plus > Category and configure in tab Permission.

III. Article level

  • To configure in this level, please go to Components > TZ Portfolio Plus > Article and configure in tab Permission of the article you want.

  • To configure SEF URL of TZ Porfolio Plus articles, please go to "Component > TZ Portfolio Plus > Options".
  • In tab Advanced Options, you will see options ROUTER. You can configure as you want.
