Hi everyone :) ,

I'm new to TZ Portfolio and first of all I'd like to say congratulations and thank you to your developer team. Indeed, I was struggling to achieve what I wanted trying different extensions but I found TZ Portfolio which brings a lot of features I was looking for. It's also really nice to make available the full version so we can try it out without fear of wasting money. No doubt we will soon purchase a paid license not only to get unlimited articles but also to support your effort.

About my question now (which might be the first of various but I'll do different topics to not confuse things). Well, as I wrote it in my post's title : how can I choose the folder path of uploaded images ?

I'm using TZ Portfolio 2.3.8 and Image Gallery addon 1.0.7.
Note that by default it generates a new folder with path looking like /images/tz_portfolio_plus/image_gallery/id/
Why not because I like the fact that it creates a new folder for each article and doesn't upload all images in a generic folder which would be quickly messy but I didn't find an option to parameter this path.

Moreover, when I try to add an image not from the Image Gallery tab but from the Image tab, I do can browse my folders, upload the image wherever I want and select it but when I try to save the article I get an error "L'enregistrement a échoué avec l'erreur suivante : Joomla\Filesystem\File::copy: Copy failed". Is this a permission rights issue ?

I hope I have been clear enough, if not please feel free to ask for additional infos.

I will be grateful for any help you can provide ;) .
Have a nice day :) .

Dear Théo,

Yes, it's possible to get the feature back. I'll forward this request to our developer, and let you know later.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thank you for your answer and that precision.
However, you don't tell me if it is possible to change folder path of the image upload function and if so how. I assume it isn't yet but then I'd like to know if you would consider adding this feature in future update?

Hi,

That's right, we have updated the image gallery add-on to change the image upload function.
Now it only allows you to drag & drop images from local folders.

In addition, note that I read the following page about the Image Gallery addon : https://www.tzportfolio.com/document/add-ons/31-image-gallery.html but I assumed the addon had been updated since because I don't have the same options to upload images in my tab.

I read in the forum users asking to make available multiple uploads, so it seems you answered this request but disable possibility of browsing folders.
