I can't figure out for the life of me how to or where to specify whether I want an image to show as portrait for landscape?
Also.. the link to the actual article/project produces a 500 error " behavior::caption not found."
Example

I would really appreciate some input. What I see as the demo for VANI is what I want but I can't seem to be able to configure it properly.

Thanks so much,
Gina G.

Hi, that's an issue of Vani style with Joomla 4. We will update and fix the as soon as possible. I'll inform you when the update is done. Hope you understand!

Ok.. sorry, but that doesn't help.
Which language file is missing and which language constants need overrides?
Thanks,
GG

Hi,

It's a language translation issue. Maybe the language file is missing. You can use Joomla language override to translate those language constants.

Awesome... I didn't see that. It looks different for me.
Good, but now I still get an error for the link to the single article. Can you help with that, too?

Thanks so much!
GG

Hi,

Regarding portfolio images, please make sure you configure Vani options on the right sidebar (see the attachment), which allows you to display images in 3 types: standard, landscape, or portrait.
An article marked as featured, plus standard type will generate a large square image (double size)

Hi, Have you updated the component to the latest version yet?
Are you running your website on Joomla 3.x or Joomla 4?
