I too am having this same problem. I can say however, the problem is in the categories.
If you changed your homepage in the menu to a Portfolio category, other than the main Portfolio page, you will get this error.
I created a new category and assigned an old article, and still had the same problem.
The Template I am using is tz_portfolio_plus_demo - Default,
My Template version is 1.0
I Tried updating to 1.1, bu got the following:
Unable to detect manifest file.
Error installing COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_TZ_PORTFOLIO_PLUS-TEMPLATE
To update the TZ Portfolio+ style, you can go to Admin > Components > TZ Portfolio Plus > Style > Click the button "Install" (at the left top corner)
Then all the style with latest version will appear, you need to find 28 style in 1 package ( Demo style) > Click the button "Update Now"
A green message will notice you about the successful installation.

I get a "message not delivered" when i will send the mail....
The response was:

When i try to log in in Messenger for a chat, it doesn't work either.
I'm getting the same error after upgrading.
