Hello,

I am transitioning to TZ Portfolio+, but I am also changing my website's framework and template, so I decided to try first with a new installation before applying to my current website.

The problem I am having is that I have created a field to add extra information, and the field doesn't allow me line breaks (paragraphs). The field is a textearea type, so I'd imagine it should support line breaks.

Also, I created another field, type dropdownlist, and that field doesn't show at all.

Finally, formatting is off. I haven't really played with it yet, but I thought you'd like to know. I have attached an image so you can see the problem.

I am using the Supra template from Rocketheme, with the Gantry 5 framework. TZ Portfolio+ version 2.03.

Regards,

Luciano

Hi,

Please add it in the custom css section of the template. If your template doesn't support custom css section, please adjust its css file or contact the template's provider to know how to add it.
We'll try to update Folio style to fix this issue in next version.

Best regards,

Hi,

Please try to add this css code below to fix this issue:

.tpItemPage .tpArticleExtraField ul.tpExtraFields li.tp_extrafield-item{
display: flex;
}
.tpItemPage .tpArticleExtraField ul.tpExtraFields li.tp_extrafield-item div{
flex: 1;
padding-left: 15px;
}

Hello!

Sorry for not creating a new topic, but since it's a continuation of the same problem, I figured it would be helpful to have it all together.

I have upgraded both TZ Portfolio+ and the Folio Style. And now the extra field is once again broken.

Can you please take a look and let me know?

Thanks!

I updated Folio and it worked!

I am going to play a little more before popping the champagne, but so far, so good.

Thanks for your help. I'll be back whether I have a problem or not.

I was going insane trying to figure out what the problem is, so I have installed a fresh copy of Joomla in my computer (Xampp) and installed TZ Portfolio+ and nothing else.

Voilá. Everything works.

So my take is that there's conflict happening with the Rockettheme template.

Have you ever seen anything like this?

Hello,

Sorry for the delay. I had to prioritize things in the company and couldn't do this at the time.

I'm not sure what the problem might be with the columns. I see on the HTML that it is calling the boostrap css, as well as other css. But when I inspect the element it won't compute .col-lg-whatever.

I have tried addind .col-lg-1 through 12 on the customs css for the Rocketheme Supra template, recompiled the css, and still nothing.

OK, so I went a bit further and tried adjusting the template's layout using the Layout Builder. I wanted the image to be a bit smaller and the extrafields to be to its right.

Unfortunately when I change the settings it won't affect the article on the website.

I have attached the screen shots.

Are these problems related or should I start a new thread?

Thanks for your feedback. Please help me download attached file, unzip and replace tzportfolioplus.min.css file in {root}/components/com_tz_portfolio_plus/css/tzportfolioplus.min.css

It will help you solved your issue. We will update this file in the next version of TZ Portfolio.

Best Regards,
Sonny

I just updated to the 2.04 and it almost fixed everything.

The only thing that is not fixed is the row for the textarea field.

I am attaching a screen print so you can see the problem: the field has multiple lines, but the row only has the height of one line.

The funny thing is that the next field is a one-liner and it has the height that should have been the one of the textarea field.

Let me know if there's a quick fix or if I should try to do it with external css.

OK, so I was able to figure out the line breaks: I need to use HTML.

That's really not very practical, since the people entering the data are not coders, buut I figure they can learn to use the <p> tag.

Regardless, if there was an easier alternative, that would be better.

The one thing that is really bugging me is that not only the dropdownlist is not showing on the product page, but it doesn't matter what I select it deafults to a different value (which is not the list's default).
