Simultaneous display of portfolio and articles?

Hi, I'm new to Joomla and TZ Portfolio. I'll explain what I'm trying to do, to check if it's possible.

My web has a menu in the top where when you click on a item, you get to a portfolio page. So far so good. What I want to make is, when you click on a portfolio item, the screen divides in two columns, in the left side there would be a single column of portfolio articles, and in the right side, the content of the clicked article appears. Is this possible? I'm already working with a custom template that I made, I already know it's a matter of positions, my doubt is, it is possible to display simultaneously the article and the portfolio? The perfect example of what I want to achieve is this page: minimaforms.com. If anybody can help me I would be eternally grateful. Thank you!

Thanks for using TZ Portfolio+. I am Sonny. I glad to answer your question. In this case you should create a Custom Template. Some example available at https://www.tzportfolio.com/portfolio-plus-templates.html
Or you can wait to next month. We will create a new template with your idea as minimaforms.com.

I'm currently working with a custom Joomla template, but I don't know how TZ Portfolio works exactly. I already checked the templates in your page but I haven't found one that serves me well. I meant to say, in the left side, the content of the article, and in the right side, the column of articles, just like in minimaforms. An official template with that exact design would help me a lot. Thank you so much!

Hi,

You can override TZ Portfolio in Joomla Template like other extensions.

For example:



root

-- templates

---- your templates

------ html

-------- com_tz_portfolio_plus

---------- portfolio -> copy and replace php file here

---------- article -> copy and replace php file here

---------- ....

Do you know what exact archive I have to change to make the articles appear in the same page, without navigating to another? I'm a bit lost. Thank you!

Hi

For example: If I want override "portfolio view" in "protostar" template. I copy files from "tmpl" of "portfolio view" to "html" folder like other Joomla extensions.

I already know how to override the default style of the template, but I don't know what files to change to make the articles and the portfolio appear in the same page. With so many files and folders I'm a bit lost. Thank you!

It's related advance technical. If you can not do it by yourself. You can wait us for this template. I have a plan to build a new template like your idea.
